In a recent taste test, California school kids chose Dobake Bakeries’ Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Cinnamon Rolls as their favorite breakfast item. The taste test was sponsored by the California School Nutrition Association (CSNA) and conducted by Nutritional Advisory Councils (NAC) at their Mini-Conference 2011 in March.
Dobake Bakeries’ Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Cinnamon Rolls beat out mini whole-wheat cinnamon rolls, a national brand yogurt and a cereal.
The Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Cinnamon Rolls were developed with school nutrition guidelines in mind, but formulated so kids would want to eat them. Numerous taste tests with children grade K-12, proved that they had no idea they were eating cinnamon rolls made with sweet potatoes–packed full of ingredients that are good for them. We suppose then, it’s no surprise that these Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Cinnamon Rolls are our number one selling school item.
